There are very few artists on Deviantart with a million+ page views that are actually any good. The only I've seen with actual talent are simmering around in the thousands...
    Kind of ironic.

    Three days till prom <3

And oh my word...I just read my journal posts from 2003.
I was quite the little shit.

ya. ppl who sell real comic books...and who work with actual cartoons have less page views than these so called "popular artists". It says alot. a WHOLE lot.

Yeah, it's quite sad. But it does make for quite a huge watchlist on my part because there ARE so many talents floating around unnoticed. Cept that I try to notice them.

    I don't make sense. D:

yeah, the sweet spot is between 50,000 and 300,000 imho, because you have the recognition that makes you want to improve, but not the pressure of a bunch of fantards :3

I dunno, I disagree. :D There are a lot of people that just hit 1,000,000 that I think are really really awesome. But I dunno, I have somewhat common tastes. I do think that a lot of amazing people have significantly less pageviews.

Sad but true. And that's only because of Fan Arts. People would rather see a common and completely nothing out of normal fan art than an awesome OC. -_-'
There are one or two people around those millions of pageviews that have only OC's in their gallery, and they are exceptionally good in CG (that's another thing people always like to see). But oh well... here in dA if you want those billions you HAVE to to fan arts (specially Naruto and Bleach) or being REALLY good at CGing, or even both. ^^; And even the last i«one can be easily thrown away for the fan arts.
